The task of a successful courier consists in carrying out the deliveries as fast and as reliably as posible.
In addition to this, you should have a friendly attitude towards customers, and handle consignments with care. It’s all about being quick-witted while being as fast as possible.

You must have optimal fitness and concentration levels to be able to handle multiple tasks, quickly finding your way into the city, whatever the weather!
The courier should adapt to the company’s ethos, by respecting the traffic rules and be considerate to pedestrians – who are the weakest link in the traffic.
It is imperative to feel comfortable on a bike and in navigating through the traffic in order to do the job safely and efficiently.
To become a bike courier at vélocité Ltd, you must be over 18 years old, be in posession of at least a 1/2 Tax SBB abonnement, and commit to work for a period of 6 months minimum.

The courier’s work at vélocité Ltd is organised in shifts (half days). We can estimate the ridden distance of a shift to about 50 to 80 km. The courier at vélocité Ltd gets guaranteed minimum wage, regardless of the number of deliveries he’s done.
